State of Georgia. Wilkes County }

In the name of God Amen. I George Bailey being weak of body but of sound disposing mind & memory do make this my last will & testament in manner & form following. First I recommend my Soul to God that gave it me and my body to be decently buried at the discretion of my friends.
Secondly - I will that all my just debts be paid.
Item 2nd - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sydney Leveritt the one half of all the Lands that I may be possessed of at my death.
Item 3rd - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sydney Leveritt Eighteen dollars in cash at my death.
Item 4th - I give and bequeath unto my grandchildren Feby Bailey, Peggy Dozer Bailey, George Reed Bailey, Polly Ann Bailey and Joniah Bailey the other half of my lands to be equally divided among them at my death and to be in the care of Russell Bailey till they severally become of age to receive their parts.
Item 5th - I consider I have previously given my daughter Susannah Jennings, now Susannah Huddleston her full proportionable part of my Land.
Item 6 - I give & bequeath unto my grand Daughter Eliza Bailey one feather Bed & furniture of good quality.
Item 7th - My will is that my daughter Sydney Leveritt have the one third part of all the Balance of my property at my death.
Item 8th - My will is that the one other third part of the Balance of my property be equally divided among the heirs of my daughter Peggy Bailey, that is the heirs of her body, Feby Bailey, Peggy Dozer Bailey, George Reed Bailey, Polly Ann Bailey & Joniah Bailey & to be in the care of Russell Bailey til they severally become of age to receive their parts.
Item 9th - My will is that the one third part of all the Balance of my property shall be in the care of my daughter Susannah Huddleston during her natural (life) and then be equally divided among the lawful heirs of her body.
Lastly - I nominate & appoint constitute ordain and appoint Robert Leveritt, George Huddleston & Russell Bailey Executors to this my last will & testament revoking all former wills made by me In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal this 23rd day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & nineteen - Interlined before signing.
