FLOGGED A CONVICT TO DEATH.
WASHINGTON, Ga., April 13.—The flogging to death of a prisoner named Frank McRAE has been fastened upon Robert CANNON, his guard. McRAE was taken out by this guard and flogged so severely that he died under the operation.
The body was then secretly interred. The matter leaked out, and the Coroner's Jury to-day fixed the crime as stated upon CANNON.
