COMPANY I

D. E. CLEVELAND

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The speech by Col. Joseph E. STROTHER was a most happy one. Capt. I. A. MCCLENDON also
made some remarks that were very much appreciated.
In the history of this company is the proud record that at the battle of Chickamauga
only three came out of the fight unharmed.
The barbecue was magnificent in proportions as well as otherwise. May the great old
company have many more as happy occasions.
