Obituary of Thomas E. Watson
JAY -- Thomas E. Watson, 56, died late Friday in a local hospital.
He was a native of Hartford, Ala., but had resided in Jay for the past 45 years where he was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Voncile Branch Watson; two sons, Roger Watson and Jackie Watson both of Jay; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Dean and Miss Sue Watson, both of Jay; three brothers, J. O. Watson, Curtis Watson, and Buddy Watson, all of Jay; seven sisters, Mrs. Velva Freeman of Milton, Mrs. Essie Holloway of Jay, Mrs. Agnes Freeman of Tavares, Mrs. Ida Albritton, Mrs. Ada Giddeon and Miss Virginia Watson all of Pensacola and Mrs. Ruth Hutson St. Petersburg; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Jay with the Rev. Ronald Davis and Elder C. J. Myers officiating.
Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
The body will be at the residence until funeral time.
