SIMPSONVILLE -- Frances Lucille Nobles Powell, 72, of 406 Hunting Creek Drive, formerly of Pensacola, Fla., died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Chadbourne, N.C., she was a member of the Family Worship Center Assembly of God Church in Pensacola, and was a teacher of the Pillows of Faith Senior Group in Pensacola. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are widower, Marvin Jackson Powell of the home; sons, Richard Powell of Houston, and Gregg Powell of Petal, Miss.; daughters, Loretta Pearson of Mauldin, and Sherry Maloney and Jackey Camstock, both of Clinton, Iowa; sisters, Estelle Powell and Josephine McKinney, both of Pensacola; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Nobles.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. Monday at The McDougald Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Julian Walker; entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Anderson. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday.
