William Preston[sic] Giddeon, 75, died Monday in a local hospital.
He was a native of Geneva, Ala., but had resided here the last 10 years. He was a member of the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ada V. Giddeon of Pensacola; four sons, Kenneth Ray Giddeon of Anderson, S.C., James Carl, William Preston Jr.[sic], and Watson Wayne Giddeon, all of Pensacola; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Manwell of Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Lois Hemmer of Pensacola; a brother, Ralph Giddeon[sic] of Panama City and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p. m. Wednesday in McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Burl Matthews officiating.
Burial will be in Concord Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Jay with McNeil Funeral Home directing.
