Obituary of Toy Jeanette Giddeon Manwell
Toy Jeanette Giddeon Manwell, 84, died Thursday August 15, 2002, in Vancouver, WA, after a long illness.
Mrs. Manwell was born June 10, 1918, in Hartford, Ala. to William Patrick Giddeon and Ada Viola Watson. She lived in NW Florida until the late 1940s, when she and her husband moved their family to Vancouver, residing there until her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; mother and father; sister Eunice; and brothers, Bill and Wayne.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Eve Manwell of Camas, WA and Nick and Kathy Manwell of Vancouver; daughter, Delores Manwell, of Vancouver; sister, Lois Hemmer, of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Ken Giddeon and Carl Giddeon, both of Pensacola; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2002 at Calvary Way Full Gospel Church, 100 Jones St. in Pensacola, with the Rev. Carl Shiver officiating.
Interment was Tuesday, August 20, 2002, beside her husband at Williamette National Cemetery, in Portland, Oregon.
