Obituary of William Preston "Bud" Giddeon, Jr.
William Preston Giddiens, 58, of 510 North 15th Ave., died Thursday in a local hospital. Mr. Giddiens was a native of Alabama and had resided in Pensacola for most of his life. He was a member of the Elk Lodge No. 409.
Survivors include his wife, Willie W. Giddiens; a daughter, Betty Sure Geri; his mother Ada Giddeon; three brothers, Wayne Giddeon, Carl Giddeon, and Ken Giddeon, all of Pensacola; two sisters, Lois Hemmer of Pensacola, and Jeanette Manwell of Vancouver, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p. m. Monday in the Fisher-Pou chapel with the Rev. Luther Stephenson officiating. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery with Chaplain C. E. Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be Wilbur Hoffman, Gary Hartsfield, Keith Giddeon, and Marvin Giddeon.
