Individual Note: In the 121 passenger list to the 1587 famous "Lost Colony" at RoanokeIsland, NC were Edward (ABT 1557-1558) and Winnifred Powell, possiblyhusband and wife, who were presumably murdered by the local Indians. Ifthis Edward could be proved to be the brother of John Powell (1558-),then he could be a first indirect Powell lineage family emigrant toAmerica.
