EDNA PEARL HENDERSON

1929-2002

Edna Pearl Henderson, 72, of Pensacola, died peacefully Sunday, March 3,2002 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Henderson was born in Adel, GA November 3, 1929. She moved toPensacola during the mid 1940's. She was dearly loved by all her familyand friends and we will miss her with all our hearts. She was a lovingmother, devoted wife and loyal to all her friends. She has blessed manylives and gave freely to all who were in need. She will be remembered byeveryone fondly and with a happy heart.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Jess Willard Henderson andtheir four daughters, Betty Sue Geri, Sheila Lajuana LeClaire, SynthiaLorraine Henderson and Shirley Anna Lawson; three sons-in-law; twogranddaughters, five grandsons; three great granddaughters and two greatgrandsons. She is also survived by her dearest first cousin, Ms. VannieThomas who still resides in Adel, GA.

Funeral services will be 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at FaithChapel Funeral Home South with Leaon Henderson officiating. Intermentwill follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge ofarrangements.

The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel from 5 to 7 P.M. Tues.Mar. 5.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Baptist Hospital2nd floor East and 3rd floor, especially Nurse Becky, who made her lasthours comfortable.

1949 - 2003

Betty Sue "Geri" Giri, 54, of Pensacola, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 12, 2003.

Betty Sue was born on September 17, 1949.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Henderson; and special mother-in-law, Ola Geri.To cherish her memories, she is survived by her husband, Michael Giri; sons, William Michael Geri and Jess Malcolm Geri; daughter, Michelle Davine McElwee of Iowa; sister-in-law, Janice Smith and husband, George; brother-in-law, Freddie Geri and wife, Judy; step-father, J.W. Henderson; precious grandchildren, Thomas Geri, Joshua McElwee, Melissa (Nikki) McElwee and Monaca Cartwright. She is also lovingly remembered by her step- sisters, Shirley Ann, Cindy, Cathy and Sheila; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends who were fortunate enough to know and appreciate her love and generosity.

Her compassion and love for others will never be forgotten, especially to David E. Geri, a very special father-in-law.

"Though we no longer hold your hand, we hold you in our hearts."

Funeral services will be 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.

Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George "Bubba", David and James Smith, Mike Bush, Mark Phebus and Kim Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Melissa "Sissy" and Tabitha Smith, Jamie Geri, Mary Phebus, Rhonda Edge and Kimberly Binford.

FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME SOUTH, 100 Beverly Pkwy, is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel South from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 16.

The family would also like to extend their thanks to Dr. John G. Brown for his care and compassion throughout Betty Sue's illness. "When you cherish the emotional value of a person, it can never really be lost, for what you carry in your heart is yours to keep forever."
